TrakLok Corporation Joins IANA
Knoxville, TN (August 5, 2011) – The TrakLok Corporation of Knoxville, Tennessee is proud to announce its membership in the Intermodal Association of North America. IANA promotes the benefits of intermodal transportation to the shipping community, provides members with a forum to discuss common issues and innovations, fosters its members' professional development, participates in governmental proceedings impacting the industry, and informs and educates lawmakers and other public sector representatives about intermodalism.
Eric Dobson, CEO of TrakLok Corporation said, "As new members of IANA, we are excited to be involved with such a valuable organization and look forward to pursuing new business relationships through IANA."
The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) keeps its members informed of legislative and regulatory issues, plus reliable industry data, educational forums, networking opportunities, news and information with quality programs and services. Increasingly, intermodal service providers will be called upon to offer innovative, efficient and value-added services which allow shippers to effectively compete. IANA forges a strong identity among carriers, customers, policymakers and regulators whose decisions are critical to the industry's growth.
"IANA members are leaders in the industry and as such the membership provides a platform for TrakLok to showcase our GeoLok technology", said Tom Jostes, TrakLok's VP of Business Development. "The GeoLok is designed for fitment of all ISO intermodal and international containers".
TrakLok Corporation's "geolock" solution defines a new standard for cargo security and in-transit visibility. The GeoLok™ is a ruggedized locking device designed to take extreme abuse while ensuring access control and cargo condition monitoring. The TrakLog™ web portal allows access to client information. Due its open architecture, the solution is easily integrated with existing logistics software systems to provide seamless in-transit visibility. TrakLok delivers value to all parts of the supply chain by improving both physical security and the efficiency with which intermodal cargo assets are managed.
