Thomas L. Mann, Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Mann brings 25 years of management experience in high tech Start Up and Turn Around companies. Mr. Mann is the Chief Executive Officer of the company and a member of TrakLok’s Board of Directors. Mr. Mann was formerly the COO of TrakLok. As COO he was responsible for the day-to- day operation of the company. Previously Mr. Mann was the President and CEO of Telesensors, Inc., an electronic design firm that provides product development and manufacturing transition services for complex RF, Wireless, and Sensor applications. Prior to Telesensors, Mr. Mann served as VP of Operations for HealthWatch Systems, with responsibility for engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and product distribution. Prior to HealthWatch, Mr. Mann was Executive Vice President of Operations for Woodside Biomedical with responsibility for all aspect of Operations in this turnaround company. His efforts as a key member of the executive team led to the acquisition of Woodside by Abbott Laboratories in 2003. Before Woodside, Mr. Mann served various positions for Thermoscan, the latest as Vice President of Manufacturing. Over his tenure, Mr. Mann led the effort to start up or turn around five manufacturing operations located in four different countries. Thermoscan was acquired by the Gillette Company in 1996. Mr. Mann received his B.S. in Operations Management from San Diego State University in 1984.

Daniel L. Blankenship, Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Blankenship brings 35 years of broad System Engineering Experience in Technology companies. Dan Blankenship is the Vice President of Engineering for TrakLok Corporation. As a key member of the management team, Mr. Blankenship is responsible for the overall technology vision for the company and maintaining all operational aspects of engineering, program management, and product development. Mr. Blankenship was previously the Chief Operating Officer and founding member of Telesensors, Inc. In his role he was responsible for the day to day operations and customer interface for this wireless and sensor Technology firm. Prior to Telesensors, Mr. Blankenship served various positions, the latest as Design Center Manager, for Flextronics Semiconductor’s Oak Ridge, TN division. Mr. Blankenship was a key manager at ASIC International, a start-up, which grew to $38 million when it was acquired by Flextronics in 2001. While at ASIC International, Mr. Blankenship oversaw 12 ASIC projects all of which had “first pass” working silicon success. Prior to ASIC International, Mr. Blankenship’s technical experience includes hardware and firmware experience with Tutor Corporation, Computations System, Inc., and The Nucleus, Inc. Mr. Blankenship received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Dean Ford, Vice President of Sales

Dean Ford comes to Traklok with over 25 years of Transportation industry experience. Mr. Ford is the Vice President of Sales for the company. Prior to TrakLok, Mr. Ford was the VP of Commercial Sales for Zonar Systems, a software based Fleet Management Company. Prior to Zonar Mr. Ford was Sr. Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Membership for ATA. During Mr. Ford's tenure with ATA, membership grew to record levels as well as the association returning to profitability. Before ATA Mr. Ford was Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Vehicle Operations with Lockheed Martin. At Lockheed Martin he developed the nation’s largest commercial vehicle safety program and tolling operation for commercial vehicles. With Mr. Ford’s leadership, Lockheed Martin's PrePass division grew from servicing 2,000 trucks to over 250,000 trucks. Mr. Ford began his career in trucking at Qualcomm, Inc. During his tenure with Qualcomm he managed the Eastern Division Sales, Western Division sales, Acquisitions, and US Sales. Dean is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BBA in Management and Industrial Relations.
